New works to High Street will allow parade to continue on same route.
The Tullamore St. Patrick's Day Parade goes ahead as usual this year, on the same route as last year, in spite of the roadworks going on in the Town center. It had been feared that the roadworks would affect the Parade.
We have met the Council officials and they have clarified that the roadworks will not affect the Parade this year as half of High St will be open and the eorks will not have progressed to Bridge St. or Colmcille St.
We are delighted that the Parade can continue on the same route as last year and it is all systems go.
We do advise all patrons attending the festival to bet safety
